48-hour Divorce & Custody Mediation / Domestic Violence Screening Training

Overview

This comprehensive training—approved by the Michigan State Court Administrative Office (SCAO)—is designed to teach participants the skills necessary to act as mediators in facilitating the resolution of divorce and custody disputes. It is the first step for any individual who wishes to mediate privately or qualify for the circuit court roster approved list of mediators. This training combines our 40-hour Divorce and Custody Mediation Training and SCAO-required 8-hour Domestic Violence Screening Training. This is the premier domestic relations training in the country; past attendees have told us that our training is the best they've ever received. We're confident you'll feel the same about your experience with us.

What to expect

  • Power balancing
  • Support and parenting arrangements
  • Custody issues

You'll also receive a comprehensive training manual and ready-to-use forms.

Attendance at each workshop is limited to assure direct feedback and coaching in role plays. We also connect participants to observation and continuing education programs.
